1. Share the right number. People must call your ZEDSMS number, not your normal SIM number. Check the number in My Numbers and share it with your contacts.
  2. Private numbers only. Shared numbers cannot receive calls, only SMS.
  3. Number is active. An expired number stops receiving calls. See What happens when a number expires?
  4. Internet connection. Incoming calls reach you over the internet, so your phone needs Wi-Fi or mobile data and the ZEDSMS app should be allowed to run.
  5. Notifications. In your phone's settings, make sure notifications for the ZEDSMS app are turned on, and that battery saving is not stopping the app in the background.
  6. Caller dialling. The caller should dial your number in full international format.

If it still does not work, contact support@zedsms.com. Calls pass through third-party carriers, so see our Terms & Conditions for what we can and cannot guarantee.
